We are really local and not affiliated with any large national chain. Lifestyle Home Care is Bakersfield born and raised - from it's passionate owners to the caregivers hired. We started Lifestyle to give back to our community.
Do you only provide service to the Bakersfield area?
No. We provide services across Kern County and even across some county lines. Contact us to find out if we service your area. Chances are, we do!
How do I know what services my loved one needs?
Not to worry - we'll take care of your loved one's needs assessment. We can work with you and/or your medical provider to determine what level of care is best for their needs.
What kind of care does Lifestyle Home Care provide?
We have a wide range of non-medical services available. Our caregivers provide companionship services such as meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping, grocery shopping/errands, transportation assistance, medication reminders, and more. We also provide personal care services that are tailored to an individuals activities of daily living such as bathing, toileting, and mobility assistance. We also provide specialized condition services such as Dementia/Alzheimer's Care.

How much does in-home care cost?
We treat each client as family and each client will receive a personalized care plan. Each care plan is carefully detailed and as such prices will vary. Contact us for more information.
How are Lifestyle Home Care caregivers selected?
As members of the community ourselves, we believe that choosing the right caregiver for the right client is of utmost importance. Every employee is carefully screened and trained before caring for a client. Our rigorous process includes national and local criminal background checks, drug screenings, DMV checks, as well as an intensive personal and professional reference check. All of our caregivers are bonded, insured, and covered.
What is home care vs. home healthcare?
Typically, "home care" is used to describe non-medical care provided in a clients home. These include companion and personal care. While "home healthcare" refers to medical care that is can include skilled nursing care.
